I saw Hot Chip last night at Brixton Academy and it was a spectacle. I have their last 2 albums and only really know the main songs and haven't got properly into them. I think some of the songs on the albums sound a bit tame and weak but live though, is something different. THeir albums are definately made for the live sound as the performance brilliant. The sound was perfect and the night turned into more of a club night than a concert. Wasnt sure about the final song which was a cover of 'Nothing Compares to You'. Nice cover and something different to your usual concert finale of saving the main tune until the end. Wasted on my party which was 3 lads not reallydown with male bonding, perfect for the drunken Aussies diluting the crowd.
